Pusha – the Strengthener: The next energy field in the South-East direction is of a red coloured devta called Pusha. Pusha is the power of nourishing, strengthening and promoting.
At many places in Vedas, Pusha has been prayed, along with Indra, to block the path of enemies. Vastu Shastra recommends this place for keeping ghee (butter oil) and other nourishing things. This is also a devta to safeguard the ways (roads for journey).
This is a devta which imparts nourishment and strength to life. He appears on the main door of the road from where a journey starts. He is invoked in Vedas for being helpful in getting back the lost money.
